The Hyne Group is majority owned by James Jones & Sons Limited (JJSL) bringing together a combined 320 years of family-owned sawmilling heritage. James Jones is the UK's most diversified, family-owned timber processor.

Operating 27 sites and employing over 1,200 people, James Jones is a global leader in sawmilling, pallet manufacture, and I-Joist production.

Softwood sawmills

Hyne Timber’s sawmills are focused on producing high-quality structural timber, with around 50% of each log dedicated to this purpose. The remaining by-products are expertly repurposed across our businesses, ensuring every part of the log is utilised for sustainable, innovative solutions.
